HealthScreen Launches Advanced Preventative Health Facility in Sydney
HealthScreen has inaugurated its new Sydney facility, enhancing its preventative health and executive services in response to high demand from its flagship centre in Melbourne. On November 18, 2025, the new location commenced operations, featuring cutting-edge technology designed to facilitate early disease detection and personalized health management.
Integrating Advanced Health Technologies
The Sydney facility combines advanced multi-modal imaging, genetic testing, biomarker analysis, and AI-enabled diagnostics. This sophisticated approach supports the early identification of health issues and allows for tailored long-term management plans. HealthScreen’s one-day assessment model employs AI-assisted MRI screening, genetic testing, and a diagnostic panel that evaluates over 100 biomarkers across 50 medical categories.
This integrated system can identify early indicators of more than 1,000 diseases, offering a level of insight seldom found in traditional healthcare settings. The launch event included panel discussions featuring notable figures in health innovation, such as Professor Greg Hunt, former Federal Minister for Health; Dr David Badov, Founder and Medical Director of HealthScreen; and Dr Nick Coatsworth, former Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Australia. They shared insights on emerging trends in precision diagnostics, microbiome science, and the growing demand for customized health solutions.
Focus on Proactive Healthcare
Dr David Badov emphasized that the Sydney facility marks a significant advancement for patients seeking proactive, data-driven care. “Preventative medicine has shifted dramatically over the past decade. By integrating MRI technology, advanced imaging, genetics, and biomarker testing, we can identify potential health concerns much earlier. Our aim is to provide individuals with clarity, confidence, and a concrete plan for their long-term health,” he noted.
During the event, Professor Greg Hunt highlighted the importance of early detection in reducing chronic disease burdens in Australia. “Advanced preventative screening has enormous potential to enhance individual health outcomes and improve the overall health system,” he stated.
Dr Nick Coatsworth added that Australians are increasingly looking for personalized insights into their health risks. “People desire a deeper understanding of their future health trajectories. This model brings together the necessary technology and clinical expertise to provide that clarity,” he explained.
The new HealthScreen facility, located in Haymarket, features a state-of-the-art MRI suite, dedicated diagnostic testing rooms, and consulting spaces designed for a seamless “single-day assessment” experience. HealthScreen Sydney is now open and welcoming new patients. For further information, visit https://healthscreen.com.au/.
