Jason Kelce Launches Charcoal-Scented Fragrance with Kingsford
Former NFL star Jason Kelce has entered the fragrance market with the launch of his inaugural scent, Slow Burn. This unique fragrance, inspired by the essence of barbecuing, is a collaboration with the well-known charcoal grilling brand Kingsford. Available now, the fragrance is priced at US$30.62, a nod to Kelce’s jersey number, 62, worn during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The scent is described as a “gourmand-smoke” fine fragrance, blending notes of charred hardwood, carbon clove, sawdust, and powder smoulder. The result is an aroma that evokes the rich, smoky essence of a barbecue, appealing to both fragrance enthusiasts and grill lovers alike.
Fragrance Details and Packaging
Slow Burn comes in a striking black bottle, topped with an American football-shaped cap, further emphasizing Kelce’s football legacy. The design reflects a playful yet sophisticated approach to a fragrance that merges culinary elements with personal scent.
Mitchell O’Furey, the head of marketing at Kingsford, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Kingsford has spent over a century perfecting the art of charcoal grilling, so who better to create the first charcoal-inspired fragrance?” This partnership marks a distinctive entry into the fragrance industry, blending the worlds of sports and culinary arts.
Consumers can now purchase Slow Burn through various retail channels, with its unique composition set to attract a diverse audience. The fragrance is not only a personal statement but also a celebration of shared experiences around the grill, resonating with those who cherish outdoor cooking and the culture surrounding it.
As Kelce moves into the fragrance realm, his collaboration with Kingsford exemplifies how athletes can diversify their brands beyond sports. With the launch of Slow Burn, Kelce aims to engage a new demographic while also paying homage to his football roots. This innovative product is poised to capture the attention of both fragrance aficionados and fans of the NFL alike.
