Alex McInnes Claims Moto Title as Qatar Off-Road Championship Concludes
The 2025 Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) concluded with an exhilarating final round in Dukhan, where competitors vied for supremacy across challenging desert landscapes. The sixth round, known as Baja, featured a total of 22 motorcycles and 13 cars, culminating in intense races that showcased skill and speed.
In a remarkable display of endurance and consistency, Alex McInnes emerged victorious in the overall bike category, securing his place as the overall Moto champion for the season. His performance throughout the year has been characterized by a series of strong finishes, which made this achievement possible.
Strong Showings from Other Competitors
The final round also highlighted impressive performances from other category winners. Nasser Al Abdulla, Mohammed Al Kubaisi, and veteran rider Allan Ramsing each delivered commendable rides, contributing to an exciting conclusion to the season. In the car section, Mohammed Al Marri and co-driver Szymon Gospodarczk topped the overall classification for the Dukhan round, solidifying their place among the elite competitors.
This round not only concluded the championship but also confirmed the new champions in various car categories. The Italian duo of Camelia Liparoti and Erika Mingozzi claimed the Class 1 Cars championship title after a strong season. In Class 2, the championship went to Nouef Al Sowaidi and Lithuanian co-driver Aisvydas Paliukenas, while the Class 3 title was awarded to Saudi competitors Motab Al Shammari and Badr Al Hamdan.
The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation organized the championship, which has become a hallmark of off-road racing in the region. As the dust settles on this season, competitors and fans alike look forward to the next installment of the Qatar Off-Road Championship, anticipating even more thrilling races and groundbreaking performances.
