Fans Ignite Excitement at Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2025
Doha is buzzing as the Lusail International Circuit (LIC) prepares for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2025. With final preparations complete, fans are gearing up for an exciting race weekend filled with activities and entertainment.
Engaging Activities for Fans
On Thursday, F1 enthusiasts participated in the iconic pit lane walk. This experience allowed fans to gain an immersive view of the teams’ garages and pit stops while interacting with drivers and team members. Such engagement enhances the thrilling atmosphere that surrounds the event.
In a move emphasizing inclusivity, LIC hosted an Accessibility-friendly Pit Lane Walk in collaboration with Qatar Foundation. This special session welcomed students from Warif Academy, Renad Academy, and Awsaj Academy, including those with diverse abilities and additional learning needs, accompanied by chaperones and family members.
The event featured a surprise appearance by Lewis Hamilton from Ferrari, who met with the children. They had the opportunity to ask questions and receive autographs, adding a memorable highlight to their experience.
Weekend Schedule and Entertainment
As the excitement continues to build, the weekend schedule includes Practice 1 and Sprint Qualifying today, followed by the Sprint Race and Qualifying tomorrow. The main Grand Prix will take place on Sunday under the iconic lights of the LIC.
Post-race concerts at the Lusail Live Stage are set to elevate the weekend’s festivities. Performers include Seal today, Cheb Khaled on Saturday, and Metallica on Sunday, promising an array of entertainment for attendees.
On Family Friday, the circuit gates will open from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. A highlight for fans is the Fan Forum, which starts in the afternoon, allowing for direct interaction with F1 drivers. Seal’s performance will begin at 9:00 PM, with gates opening at 8:30 PM.
For those attending, complimentary Metro passes are available for redemption at the Gold Club office at any Doha Metro station or selected Lusail Tram stations. The Doha Metro will operate extended hours today from 9:00 AM to 1:30 AM, with shuttle services running from Lusail QNB Station to the circuit, ensuring easy access for all fans.
The atmosphere at the Lusail International Circuit is electric, and with each passing hour, anticipation builds for the thrilling races and entertainment lined up this weekend.
