The signing ceremony took place at the QOC headquarters in Doha, attended by senior officials from both organizations. The MoU was signed by H.E. Jassim Rashid Al-Buenain, Secretary-General of the QOC, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Dandachi, General Manager of Microsoft Qatar.

Under this agreement, the two parties will work together to implement Microsoft’s latest digital solutions, including cloud computing technologies and applications of artificial intelligence. Key projects included in this collaboration feature the “Khadoom” application, which offers a streamlined platform for employees to submit requests and complete transactions using artificial intelligence. Additionally, the “Executive Dashboard” will provide access to essential data and analytics, facilitating informed decision-making. The “Media Portal” will allow for smart archiving of sports media content, improving search and sharing processes.

Commitment to Innovation and Excellence

The partnership with Microsoft also encompasses other digital programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability and fostering an integrated digital sports environment. H.E. “This partnership with Microsoft reflects our ongoing dedication to digital transformation that enhances the sports ecosystem and drives it to new horizons,” said Al-Buenain. “We consider this step a fundamental pillar for enhancing innovation and developing a smart work environment that contributes to empowering the national workforce.”

Al-Buenain further stated that this collaboration will strengthen the QOC’s capabilities to build an integrated system based on artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. This initiative is expected to position Qatar as a leading hub for sports innovation.

Complementing this perspective, Ahmad Al-Dandachi expressed pride in the collaboration, stating, “We are honored to partner with the Qatar Olympic Committee and look forward to contributing to its continued success through cutting-edge technology solutions that support its vision for the future of Qatari sport.”
