Capture the Magic: Enter the Holiday Photo Contest Today
As the festive season comes to a close, the Otago Daily Times invites readers to participate in its annual “Magic Moments” holiday photo competition. This exciting opportunity encourages individuals to share their favorite holiday images, with entries accepted until January 10, 2026. Photographers stand a chance to win attractive prizes, including a $100 voucher and canvas prints of their winning photographs.
Competition Details and Prizes
The “Magic Moments” competition celebrates the joy of the holiday season by showcasing personal snapshots. Participants can submit only one photo each, and entries will be published from December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026. The winners will be announced in the Otago Daily Times on January 12, 2026.
Prizes are as follows: the first-place winner will receive a $100 voucher along with an A3 canvas print of their photograph, while the second-place winner will also receive an A3 canvas print of their image. Additionally, the third prize includes an ODT puzzle featuring the iconic Dunedin Railway Station.
Special Offer for Participants
In a further incentive, every participant whose photo is published in the competition can take the original file to Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse in Dunedin for a complimentary enlargement. This provides an excellent opportunity for photographers to display their work in a larger format.
Those interested in entering should ensure their submissions are made by 4 PM today. This is a fantastic chance to share personal experiences and connect with the broader community through the lens of holiday festivities.
