Clay Higgins Casts Sole ‘No’ Vote on Epstein Records Release

Representative Clay Higgins, a Republican from Louisiana, has become the only member of his party to vote against the release of government records related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He expressed concern that the proposed legislation would lead to harmful consequences for innocent individuals, stating, “If enacted in its current form, this type of broad reveal of criminal investigative files, released to a rabid media, will absolutely result in innocent people being hurt. Not by my vote.”
