Qatar Gears Up for FIFA U-17 World Cup with Young Talents

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 is set to begin in just 30 days, highlighting the nation’s commitment to youth football. The tournament will run from November 3 to November 27, 2025, featuring 48 teams from around the world competing for the prestigious title.
As the host nation, Qatar has been placed in Group A, alongside Italy, South Africa, and Bolivia. The young Maroons will commence their journey against Italy on November 3 at 6:45 PM, aiming to surpass their previous best finish of fourth place in 1991.
Players Share Their Aspirations
For players like Zaid Faisal, representing Qatar at this tournament is a significant achievement. “It’s a matter of pride to play for your country in the World Cup. This is a wonderful opportunity for us as future generations to showcase our talents,” he stated. Faisal believes that competing against international teams will provide invaluable experience and hopes to make Qatar proud.
Omar Al Marzouqi, another key player from Al Sadd SC, emphasized the importance of the tournament. “Our goal is to qualify from the group stage. The world will be watching us. Competing against strong teams is a big opportunity that will open new doors for players like me,” he said.
Ahmed Saber Aboueitah, who plays for Al Arabi SC, expressed his long-held dream of representing Qatar on this stage. “This exposure is important to grow as a player. Playing against stronger teams boosts your confidence. I am ready to give my best and make the team proud,” he remarked, with aspirations to eventually play for the senior national team.
A Thrilling Atmosphere and Ticket Information
All 104 matches of the tournament will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Competition Complex at Aspire Zone, promising an electrifying atmosphere for fans. Tickets are available at www.roadtoqatar.qa, with a Day Pass priced at QAR 20, allowing access to multiple matches and cultural activities.
Fans can also opt for a Prime Pass to reserve seats for high-demand matches, or the Follow My Team ticket, which grants access to all matches of the Qatari U-17 team during the group stage. The Final will take place on November 27 at 7 PM in Khalifa International Stadium, with tickets starting from QAR 15, including accessible seating options.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 marks the beginning of a series of major sporting events in the country. It will be the first of five consecutive editions hosted by Qatar, and the first World Cup to feature 48 teams, making it the largest youth tournament to date. Notable past participants include legends like Gianluigi Buffon, Luis Figo, and Neymar.
