Lesina Nakhid-Schuster Engaged After Romantic Proposal in Raglan
Lesina Nakhid-Schuster, renowned for her role as New Zealand’s first leading lady on The Bachelorette, has announced her engagement to Tom Brodie. The proposal took place during a weekend getaway in a dome tent in Raglan, a popular coastal town known for its stunning scenery and vibrant surf culture.
Brodie, 39, a development manager for an industrial property firm, surprised Nakhid-Schuster, 37, with a heartfelt proposal. Reflecting on the moment, she described it as “an endearing moment.” She added, “We both knew we’d get married, but he’d put so much effort into it – it felt loving and just right.”
The couple first crossed paths two years ago on a dating app, and since then, they have solidified their relationship. Nakhid-Schuster previously expressed her joy in finding her “forever person” in Brodie, a sentiment she shared just a year prior to their engagement.
Their relationship has not been without its challenges. The couple undertook a six-week journey through the Middle East and Egypt, which tested their bond. This shared experience likely strengthened their commitment to one another, culminating in this significant milestone.
As Nakhid-Schuster embarks on this new chapter, her fans and followers are eager to see what the future holds for the couple. Their love story, which began on reality television, continues to thrive beyond the cameras, marking a joyful moment for both individuals and their supporters.
