Gulf Club Champions League Unveils Participating Teams for 2025-2026

The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) has officially announced the clubs that will compete in the upcoming 2025-2026 Gulf Club Champions League. This tournament aims to elevate the standard of football across the Gulf region, fostering competition and collaboration among participating clubs.
Participating Clubs and Tournament Goals
The second edition of this prestigious league will feature eight clubs selected by their respective national associations. These clubs include Al Rayyan from Qatar, Al Ain representing the UAE, Sitra from Bahrain, Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia, Zakho from Iraq, Al Nahda of Oman, Tadamon Hadramaut from Yemen, and Al Qadisiya of Kuwait.
This announcement is part of the AGCFF’s ongoing efforts to enhance football competition in the Gulf region. The league is designed to serve as a professional platform that not only showcases talent but also encourages the exchange of technical skills and development initiatives among clubs.
Previous Edition Highlights
The inaugural Gulf Club Champions League concluded with Duhok SC of Iraq securing the title. They triumphed over Al Qadisiya SC from Kuwait, winning 2-1 in the second leg of the final after the first leg ended in a goalless draw. This victory underscored the competitive spirit and ambition of clubs within the region.
As the tournament approaches, anticipation is building among fans and players alike. The AGCFF is committed to making this edition a memorable event that will further solidify the Gulf Club Champions League’s position as a significant fixture in regional football.
