iCare Botany Optometrists Rebrands to Emphasize Client Care
A well-established optometry practice in East Auckland has rebranded to better reflect its commitment to client care. Formerly known as Visique Botany Optometrists, the business has adopted the name iCare Botany Optometrists, emphasizing the importance of care in its services.
Located at Unit 11, 2 Bishop Dunn Place in Flat Bush, iCare Botany Optometrists aims to provide top-quality eye care to its clients. Owner and optometrist David Lee explained that the name change is not just cosmetic. “Nothing has changed. We will still be delivering the same excellent professional service and products under the same ownership,” he stated.
The team, which includes dispensing optician Tanny Chin and other staff members, prioritizes the health of clients’ eyesight. They offer personalized consultations to ensure that customers receive the right fitting glasses and precise lenses tailored to their needs. In conjunction with the rebranding, the optometry practice is offering a special promotion: a 50 percent discount on premium eyeglass lenses until December 23, 2023.
Comprehensive Eye Care Services
iCare Botany Optometrists specializes in diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions, including cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry-eye syndrome. Chin noted that the practice places a strong emphasis on managing myopia, especially among children. “We try and control the eyes so they don’t get worse over the years,” she explained, highlighting the importance of early intervention.
To combat myopia, iCare Botany Optometrists offers several advanced treatment options, including Ortho K lenses, specialized eye drops, and unique lenses designed for children. The practice is also recognized for its use of red-light therapy, making it the only dispensing optometrist in the Botany area to provide this service.
Chin expressed the team’s commitment to affordability, particularly for families in East Auckland. The practice aims to be a cost-effective solution for children requiring glasses, ensuring that eye health remains accessible to all.
Seasonal Closure and Future Plans
As the festive season approaches, the team at iCare Botany Optometrists extends warm wishes to its loyal customers and potential new clients. The practice will close for a holiday break on December 24, 2023, and will reopen on January 6, 2026.
For those seeking expert eye care in East Auckland, iCare Botany Optometrists remains dedicated to providing exceptional service and support for all eyesight needs. For more information or to book an appointment, clients can call 09 274 9839.
