Doha, Qatar: Qatar’s table tennis team achieved remarkable success at the WTT Youth Contender Championship held in Amman, Jordan, securing a total of seven medals—one gold, three silver, and three bronze. This performance highlights the nation’s rising profile in international table tennis and showcases the talent of its young athletes.

Outstanding Performances by Young Athletes

Among the standout players, Rasha Laghribi shone brightly, winning a gold medal in the U-11 category and adding a bronze in the U-13 category. Her achievements demonstrate her exceptional skills and versatility across different age groups.

Other medalists included Alia Albaz, who claimed silver in the U-11 category, and Serena Shaikh, who also secured silver in the U-13 category. Abdulaziz Al-Abdullah contributed another silver for Qatar in the U-15 competition. The bronze medals were earned by Rabia Al-Kuwari in the U-11 category, Ruqayya Al-Baz in U-15, and Mubarak Marzouq in the U-11 category, rounding out a strong showing from the team.
