Liam Lawson Shifts Focus Ahead of Dutch Grand Prix After Strong Finish

Liam Lawson is shifting his focus as he prepares to resume the Formula One season at the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix. Following a series of impressive performances just before the summer break, the New Zealand driver acknowledges that those results are now in the past.
After a challenging start to the 2025 season, which included being demoted by Red Bull’s senior team, Lawson demonstrated significant improvement in the final races before the summer pause. In his last four outings, he secured three points finishes, highlighted by a career-best sixth place in Austria. Additionally, he achieved two eighth-place finishes in Belgium and Hungary, showcasing a notable turnaround in form.
As Lawson’s performance picked up, he has managed to reduce the points gap between himself and his Racing Bulls teammate, Isack Hadjar. Initially trailing Hadjar for much of the season, Lawson has now narrowed the difference to just two points, a significant shift considering the competitive nature of Formula One.
Since finishing eighth at the Monaco Grand Prix, Lawson has accumulated all 20 of his points, while Hadjar has only managed eight. With ten races remaining in the season, both drivers are poised for intense competition as they strive to outpace one another.
The upcoming Dutch Grand Prix presents an opportunity for Lawson to build on his recent successes. With a renewed sense of determination, he aims to leverage the momentum from his recent performances. As Lawson prepares for this critical race, both fans and analysts will be closely watching to see if he can maintain his upward trajectory and potentially surpass Hadjar in the standings.
The rivalry within the Racing Bulls team adds an exciting dynamic to the remainder of the season. As Lawson gears up for the challenges ahead, his focus remains on delivering strong performances and capitalizing on the opportunities that lie ahead in the competitive world of Formula One.
