Pooja Hegde Stars Opposite Dulquer Salmaan in DQ41

Actress Pooja Hegde has been cast as the leading lady opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled DQ41. This project, directed by Ravi Nelakuditi, is generating significant excitement within the film industry, as it promises to showcase a contemporary love story enriched with dramatic elements.
The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, marking the production house’s tenth venture, known as #SLV10. The official launch took place on August 4, 2023, during a traditional pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad. The event attracted notable figures from the Telugu film industry, including the celebrated actor Nani, who performed the ceremonial clap. Directors Srikanth Odela and Buchi Babu Sana, alongside Gunnam Sandeep and Ramya Gunnam, were also in attendance, highlighting the film’s significance.
For Hegde, this role marks her anticipated return to Telugu cinema after a brief hiatus. Fans are particularly eager to see her share the screen with Dulquer Salmaan for the first time. This fresh pairing has already sparked considerable curiosity among audiences, promising a compelling on-screen dynamic.
In addition to her work on DQ41, Hegde is preparing for her upcoming Bollywood film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, where she stars opposite Varun Dhawan. Directed by David Dhawan, this romantic comedy aims to present her in a lighthearted and engaging role, further diversifying her film portfolio.
As expectations build for DQ41, the combination of Dulquer’s charisma, Pooja’s captivating screen presence, and Ravi Nelakuditi’s storytelling skills positions the film as one of the most anticipated Telugu releases in the near future. The excitement surrounding the project underscores the growing interest in contemporary narratives within Indian cinema.
