HealthScreen Launches Advanced Preventative Health Facility in Sydney
On November 18, 2025, HealthScreen opened its latest facility in Sydney, marking a significant expansion of its preventative health services following robust demand at its original location in Melbourne. This new facility aims to enhance early disease detection and personalized long-term health management through a combination of cutting-edge technology and comprehensive assessment methods.
The Sydney centre integrates advanced multi-modal imaging, genetic analysis, biomarker testing, and AI-driven diagnostics. This sophisticated approach enables the identification of early signs of over 1,000 diseases, offering insights that are typically unavailable in conventional health care settings. HealthScreen’s streamlined one-day assessment model employs AI-assisted MRI screenings, alongside genetic tests and a diagnostic panel that evaluates more than 100 biomarkers across 50 medical categories.
Panel Discussions Highlight Health Innovations
The launch event featured discussions led by prominent figures in medicine and health innovation. Among the speakers were Professor Greg Hunt, former Federal Minister for Health; Dr David Badov, Founder and Medical Director of HealthScreen; and Dr Nick Coatsworth, former Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Australia. They explored emerging trends in precision diagnostics, genetic analysis, and the increasing demand for tailored preventative health solutions.
“Preventative medicine has shifted dramatically over the past decade. By combining MRI technology, advanced imaging, genetics, and biomarker testing, we can detect potential health concerns far earlier,” stated Dr David Badov.
Professor Hunt emphasized the importance of early detection, highlighting that advanced preventative screening could significantly alleviate the burden of chronic disease. “HealthScreen’s work in this area is innovative and has the potential to improve outcomes for individuals and the overall health system,” he remarked.
Dr Nick Coatsworth noted that there is a growing desire among Australians for personalized insights regarding their health risks. “People want a deeper understanding of their future health trajectory. This model combines the necessary technology and clinical expertise to provide that clarity,” he said.
Facility Features and Patient Experience
Located in Haymarket, the new Sydney facility boasts a state-of-the-art MRI suite, dedicated diagnostic testing rooms, and consultation spaces designed to facilitate a seamless one-day assessment experience for patients. HealthScreen Sydney is now open and welcoming new patients seeking proactive, data-driven health care.
