Aamal’s Frijns Steel Secures QR113m Contract with CCG for LNG Project

Aamal Company, a prominent diversified entity in the Middle East, has announced that its joint venture, Frijns Steel Construction Middle East, has secured a significant contract valued at QR113 million with Consolidated Contractors Group (CCG). This partnership marks a key development in the region’s energy sector, particularly in relation to the upcoming North Field South LNG facilities.
Contract Details and Project Scope
The contract, which will extend until July 2027, involves the supply, fabrication, and painting of pipe support works for the gas processing facilities located in Ras Laffan Industrial City. This project reinforces Frijns‘ reputation as a leading provider of structural steel solutions within Qatar’s vital energy sector.
Rashid bin Ali Al Mansoori, CEO of Aamal Company, expressed his enthusiasm about the contract, stating, “This significant contract win for Frijns Steel Construction ME underscores the strength and diversity of Aamal’s portfolio of companies.” He emphasized the importance of supporting Frijns in their efforts, noting that it aligns with Aamal’s commitment to Qatar’s National Vision 2030 and the country’s ongoing infrastructure development.
