Al Shaqab Hosts Training Show to Elevate Aspiring Equestrian Talent
On October 10, 2023, Al Shaqab will host the inaugural Al Shaqab Training Show at the Longines Indoor Arena in Doha, Qatar. Scheduled from 15:00 to 20:00, this event aims to provide a platform for aspiring riders to demonstrate their skills and prepare for the upcoming competitive season, which includes the esteemed Al Shaqab League.
Empowering Future Equestrians
The Training Show is crafted to offer riders essential practical experience within a structured and supportive competitive setting. It blends educational and competitive elements, reflecting Al Shaqab’s commitment to developing a new generation of riders who can represent Qatar in both regional and international competitions.
Mohammed Al Khayareen, Director of the Equestrian Education Department at Al Shaqab, emphasized the importance of the event. He stated, “At Al Shaqab, we place great emphasis on providing a comprehensive educational environment for our riders. The Training Show is a key step in this journey. It not only offers riders valuable hands-on experience but also helps them face real challenges with greater confidence. Through such initiatives, we aim to nurture ambitions, sharpen skills, and enhance opportunities for reaching podiums while raising Qatar’s flag high on the global stage.”
Competition Structure and Participation
The competition will feature various categories tailored for different skill levels and ages, including heights of 40cm, 60cm, 80cm, 100cm, 110cm, and 120cm. A substantial number of riders from Al Shaqab are expected to participate, eager to showcase the progress they have made in their training over recent weeks.
Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the riders’ impressive performances and gain insights into the dedication required for such training. This event aligns perfectly with Al Shaqab’s mission to instill values of discipline, teamwork, and commitment among all participants.
