Al Shaqab Announces Training Show for Aspiring Equestrian Riders
Al Shaqab in Doha, Qatar, will host the Al Shaqab Training Show on October 10, 2023, from 15:00 to 20:00 at the Longines Indoor Arena. This event aims to provide a vital platform for aspiring riders to showcase their skills and prepare for the upcoming competitive season, including participation in the prestigious Al Shaqab League.
Empowering Future Champions
The Training Show is designed to offer riders practical experience in a safe and encouraging environment. It combines educational components with competitive elements, aligning with Al Shaqab’s vision of nurturing a new generation of equestrians who can represent Qatar at both regional and international levels.
Mohammed Al Khayareen, Director of the Equestrian Education Department at Al Shaqab, emphasized the importance of this initiative. “At Al Shaqab, we prioritize creating a comprehensive learning environment for our riders. The Training Show is a crucial step in this process. It provides valuable hands-on experience and helps riders tackle real challenges with increased confidence. Our goal is to nurture their ambitions, refine their skills, and enhance their chances of achieving podium success while proudly representing Qatar on the global stage,” he stated.
Categories and Participation
The competition will feature several categories tailored to various skill levels and ages, including jumps set at heights of 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm, 100 cm, 110 cm, and 120 cm. A significant number of Al Shaqab riders are anticipated to participate, demonstrating the skills they have developed through rigorous training in recent weeks.
Spectators will have the opportunity to witness exceptional performances while gaining insight into the dedication and effort required in equestrian training. This event reflects Al Shaqab’s mission to instill values of discipline, teamwork, and commitment among all participants.
