Qatar’s U-17 Team Aims for Glory in World Cup Kickoff

With the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 set to commence in just 30 days, the young Maroons are preparing to make their mark on the international stage. Scheduled from November 3 to 27, 2025, this tournament will feature 48 teams competing for the prestigious trophy, marking a significant event in the world of youth football.
As the host nation, Qatar has been drawn into Group A alongside Italy, South Africa, and Bolivia. The team’s first match will take place against Italy on November 3 at 18:45, and the players are eager to surpass Qatar’s previous best performance, which saw them finish fourth in 1991.
Young Stars Share Their Aspirations
For Zaid Faisal, a member of Qatar’s U-17 national team, participating in the World Cup represents a pivotal moment in his career. He expressed his pride in representing his country, stating, “This is a wonderful opportunity for us as future generations to showcase our talents. Playing with international teams will provide invaluable experience, and I hope we make Qatar proud.”
Omar Al Marzouqi, another key player from Al Sadd SC, emphasized the team’s ambition to advance beyond the group stage. “It is important that we give it our best. The world will be watching us. Competing against strong teams is a big opportunity that will open new doors for players like me,” he said.
Similarly, Ahmed Saber Aboueitah of Al Arabi SC shared his excitement about the tournament. “It has been my dream to represent Qatar at the World Cup. This exposure is important for my growth as a player, and I am ready to give my best and make the team proud,” he noted, expressing aspirations to one day play for the national senior team.

All 104 matches of the tournament will be held at the state-of-the-art Competition Complex at Aspire Zone, promising fans an electrifying atmosphere. Tickets are available through www.roadtoqatar.qa. A Day Pass can be purchased for QAR 20, allowing entry to multiple matches and various cultural activities throughout the tournament.
For those looking to reserve their seats for high-demand matches, a Prime Pass is available. Supporters of the Qatari national team can opt for the Follow My Team ticket, which grants access to all matches featuring the U-17 team during the group stage.
The tournament will culminate with the Final on November 27 at 19:00 in the renowned Khalifa International Stadium. Tickets for the Final start at QAR 15 and include accessible seating options for fans with disabilities.
As the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 approaches, excitement builds not only for the matches but also for the cultural events surrounding them.
