Toni Street Launches Public Speaking Course to Empower New Zealanders

Toni Street, a well-known media personality in New Zealand, has launched a new public speaking course aimed at enhancing the confidence of individuals in her home country. Despite her poised exterior as a television host and radio presenter, Street has faced her own struggles with self-belief. Through this course, she aims to share the lessons learned from her experiences with others looking to build their confidence in public speaking.
“This feels super-exciting,” Street expressed during an interview with Woman’s Day at her home in Auckland, where she lives with her husband, Matt France, and their children: Juliette, 12, Mackenzie, 10, and Lachie, 6. She emphasized her desire to start her own business, noting, “This just marries up perfectly with my broadcasting skills and everything I’ve learnt throughout my career.”
Street’s journey into entrepreneurship began with a steep learning curve, as she admitted, “I didn’t know much at all about setting up a business before this.” Her experience in broadcasting has provided her with a unique perspective on communication and performance, which she intends to pass on to her students.
In addition to her new venture, Street continues to co-host a popular breakfast show alongside Jason Reeves and Sam Wallace. As she balances her career in media with her family life, she remains active in her children’s activities, including coaching her daughter Juliette’s netball team at an interschool tournament.
The public speaking course is designed for individuals of all backgrounds, focusing on helping participants discover their personal voice and build confidence in front of an audience. Street’s initiative reflects a growing interest in personal development and communication skills among New Zealanders, as many seek to improve their public speaking abilities for both personal and professional reasons.
By sharing her own experiences and offering practical tools for public speaking, Toni Street hopes to inspire others to step into the spotlight with confidence. As she embarks on this new chapter, her enthusiasm for helping others find their voice is palpable, making her course a promising opportunity for many.
