Tere Ishk Mein Hits ₹60 Crore in Four Days, Surpasses Raanjhanaa

The romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L Rai and starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has achieved a significant box office milestone by generating over ₹60.25 crore in its first four days of release. This performance has allowed the film to surpass the lifetime earnings of its spiritual predecessor, Raanjhanaa, which concluded its run with ₹60.22 crore.

During its opening weekend, Tere Ishk Mein consistently garnered impressive figures, earning more than ₹15 crore each day. The film saw its highest single-day collection on Sunday, reaching ₹19 crore, but experienced a decline on Monday, bringing in ₹8.25 crore. This drop came after a successful Saturday, when the film earned ₹17 crore, following an opening day total of ₹16 crore.

According to data from Sacnilk, the Hindi version of the film has contributed approximately ₹58 crore to the total box office collection, while the Tamil dubbed version, which features Dhanush and music by A.R. Rahman, has managed to earn only ₹2.25 crore in the same timeframe.

Comparison with Other Releases

With its current earnings, Tere Ishk Mein has outperformed not only Raanjhanaa but also Aanand L Rai‘s 2022 release, Raksha Bandhan, which earned ₹48.63 crore, and Dhanush‘s recent directorial effort, Idli Kadai, which collected ₹50.48 crore across Tamil and Telugu versions. Despite this success, the film still trails behind Kriti Sanon‘s last theatrical release, Crew, which accumulated ₹81.70 crore.

In terms of competition, Tere Ishk Mein has significantly outstripped its rival, Gustaakh Ishq, which has only managed to collect ₹1.36 crore in the same period. The film is poised for further growth, with three days remaining before it faces competition from Ranveer Singh‘s upcoming action film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar.
