Israeli Producer Dana Eden Found Dead in Athens Hotel
Dana Eden, the acclaimed producer behind the Israeli spy thriller series Tehran, has been found dead in a hotel room in Athens. The 52-year-old Israeli national’s body was discovered at a hotel near Syntagma Square, a prominent area in the Greek capital, on February 4, 2024. According to Greek police, an investigation is underway, with an autopsy ordered to determine the cause of death.
Police spokespersons reported that initial findings suggest the possibility of suicide, noting that surveillance footage from the hotel has been reviewed. “Everything seems to indicate it was a suicide,” the spokesperson stated. Eden had traveled to Athens for the filming of the fourth season of the internationally recognized series, which is available on Apple TV and has received an Emmy award for its compelling storytelling.
