Liam Lawson Achieves Top 10 Qualification at Hungarian Grand Prix

Liam Lawson has once again showcased his talent by qualifying in the top 10 for the second consecutive Formula One race. At the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lawson will start in ninth position, continuing his strong performance with the Racing Bulls, the sister team of the renowned Red Bull Racing.
In the third and final session of qualifying, also known as Q3, Lawson clocked a best time of 1m 15.821s. While this time was not his fastest of the weekend, it placed him 0.449 seconds behind the pole position, which was unexpectedly secured by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Lawson’s teammate, Isack Hadjar, will line up directly behind him in tenth place, while championship leader Oscar Piastri from McLaren managed to qualify second, with teammate Lando Norris in third.
This recent achievement marks a significant moment for the young Kiwi driver, who has shown remarkable consistency throughout the season. Lawson has previously started in the top 10 at Monaco, Austria, and Belgium, and in each of those races, he successfully secured points, demonstrating his ability to convert qualifying success into race results.
Lawson’s strong performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix not only highlights his growing reputation in Formula One but also reflects the competitive nature of the sport, particularly within the Red Bull stable. With Max Verstappen, another driver from the Red Bull camp, qualifying eighth, it is clear that the team is well-positioned for a strong showing this weekend.
As the lights go out for the race, all eyes will be on Lawson to see if he can continue his upward trajectory and secure valuable points for himself and the Racing Bulls team. The Hungarian Grand Prix promises to be another thrilling chapter in this evolving story of talent and determination in Formula One.
