AlRayan Bank Introduces Prize-Linked Al Tijori Savings Account
AlRayan Bank has launched the Al Tijori Savings Account, a unique prize-linked savings initiative that offers customers the opportunity to turn their savings into chances to win substantial rewards. This account aligns with Islamic banking principles, allowing individuals to save while participating in exciting draws.
Account Features and Rewards
The name Al Tijori, derived from a Qatari heritage term meaning “treasure chest,” reflects the account’s focus on both savings and potential rewards. Customers earn entries into prize draws based on their savings; the more they save, the more chances they have to win.
Draws occur twice a month, with ten winners each receiving QR10,000, totaling twenty winners monthly. Additionally, a monthly draw awards one fortunate winner QR100,000, while a quarterly grand prize of QR1,000,000 is available to one winner every three months. In total, 256 winners will receive prizes amounting to QR7.6 million throughout the year, maintaining excitement for account holders.
Target Audience and Accessibility
The Al Tijori Savings Account is designed for a diverse range of savers. It appeals to young millennials taking their first steps toward financial independence, ambitious professionals seeking to grow their wealth, established families focused on long-term savings, and retirees desiring secure savings with added excitement.
Omar Al Emadi, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer at AlRayan Bank, emphasized the account’s potential, stating, “With Al Tijori, we’ve created more than just a Savings Account; we’ve created a gateway to opportunities for every customer, no matter their goals or stage in life. Each prize brings our customers closer to turning their aspirations into reality.”
Opening an Al Tijori Savings Account is straightforward, available through the AlRayan Go Mobile App or by visiting any AlRayan Bank branch. The bank encourages all customers to take advantage of this opportunity, which combines the benefits of saving with the thrill of winning valuable prizes.
