McInnes Triumphs in Qatar Off-Road Championship Finale
The 2025 Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) concluded with an exhilarating finale in Dukhan, where competitors showcased remarkable skill across challenging desert terrains. In a thrilling Round 6 (Baja), a total of 22 bikes and 13 cars took to the course, culminating in fierce racing and tightly contested battles.
Alex McInnes emerged victorious in the overall bike category, successfully securing the round and capping off a stellar season. His consistent performances throughout the championship enabled him to clinch the overall Moto title, a testament to his dedication and skill.
Strong Performances Across Categories
The event also highlighted impressive rides from various category winners. Nasser Al Abdulla and Mohammed Al Kubaisi delivered strong performances, while veteran rider Allan Ramsing added to the excitement of the day. In the car section, Mohammed Al Marri and co-driver Szymon Gospodarczk achieved top honors, finishing first in the overall classification for the Dukhan round.
As the championship concluded, the final round confirmed the new champions across the different car categories. The Italian duo of Camelia Liparoti and Erika Mingozzi secured the Class 1 Cars championship title following a solid season. In Class 2, Nouef Al Sowaidi and Lithuanian co-driver Aisvydas Paliukenas claimed the championship, while the Class 3 title was awarded to the Saudi pair of Motab Al Shammari and Badr Al Hamdan.
A Celebration of Off-Road Excellence
The Qatar Off-Road Championship has established itself as a premier event in the motorsport calendar, attracting participants from various regions. The event, organized by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, not only showcases the talent of drivers and riders but also promotes the spirit of competition and camaraderie among participants.
With the conclusion of the 2025 season, all eyes will be on next year’s championship, as competitors look to build on their experiences and strive for victory in future events.
