Aesha Scott, a popular star of the reality series *Below Deck Mediterranean*, recently shared her experiences filming in the Mediterranean for Season 10. The season, filmed over approximately six weeks, often extends to two months due to various commitments surrounding the production schedule.

Packing for Adventure

Known for her light packing habits, Scott admitted the challenge of preparing for the unique demands of filming. “I usually pack light, but I always overpack for *Below Deck*,” she said. With nine nights out and a cast day-off, she finds herself bringing around twelve outfits, an unusual number for her. In addition to clothing, Scott is an avid reader and prefers physical books over e-readers, leading her to travel with about four books at a time, which she acknowledges is excessive.

Highlights of the Mediterranean Experience

One of Scott’s standout moments occurred in Barcelona, where she was thrilled to find herself in proximity to the prestigious America’s Cup. “We were in the same marina as the Swiss team, and I was losing my mind seeing them prepare for their trials,” she noted. This excitement, however, was not shared by her fellow cast members, who seemed less impressed by the sailing event.

When discussing her favorite port stops, Scott expressed a deep fondness for Antibes, France, where her yachting journey began. “Antibes is very nostalgic and absolutely beautiful,” she explained. She also enjoys visiting Capri, Italy, describing the unique experience of traveling on the fast ferries that navigate the area.

For those planning to visit Antibes, Scott highly recommends taking a train to Eze, a picturesque village perched on a hill. “The views of the coastline from Eze are breathtaking,” she said, emphasizing its charm. She also praised Capri for its stunning landscapes and vibrant food culture, highlighting the local wines and fresh produce.

Scott’s dining experiences in Barcelona were characterized by the city’s tapas culture. While she appreciates the variety that comes with small plates, she also cautioned about the risks of food poisoning, having faced it twice during her travels there. “The produce is incredibly fresh, but tapas can sit out for a while, which can be risky,” she warned.

As for future travel aspirations, Scott expressed a desire to visit Japan, Ireland, and return to Chile, a country she last explored in her teenage years. She remains eager to experience new cultures and landscapes.

Scott also shared insights about her relationships with fellow cast members, particularly with Captain Sandy, whom she describes as a close friend. “We have a goofy, funny relationship that doesn’t always come across in the edited show,” she said, adding that she enjoys reconnecting with Nathan, another cast member.

New episodes of *Below Deck Mediterranean* Season 10 are available for streaming on Hayu every Tuesday, with episodes airing on Bravo in the USA starting in October 2023. The series continues to capture the adventures and challenges of life aboard a luxury yacht in stunning locations, showcasing the beauty of the Mediterranean while highlighting the dynamics of its cast.
