Captain Sophie Devine led the charge with a solid performance, scoring 54 runs. She was supported by Amelia Kerr, who contributed 40 runs, and Maddy Green, who finished not out on 49 runs.

Despite the challenging conditions, New Zealand managed to put a respectable total on the board. However, India’s left-arm spinner Shree Charani proved to be a key player, claiming three wickets and applying pressure throughout New Zealand’s innings.
