McInnes Triumphs as Qatar Off-Road Championship Concludes
The 2025 Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) reached an exhilarating conclusion in Dukhan, Qatar, with the final round showcasing intense competition among participants. The event featured a total of 22 bikes and 13 cars, culminating in a thrilling Round 6 (Baja) that highlighted speed and strategic racing across the challenging desert landscape.
In a remarkable display of skill and consistency, Alex McInnes emerged victorious in the overall bike category, sealing his status as the champion of the Moto title for the season. His performance throughout the year proved decisive, allowing him to dominate the competition and secure the prestigious title.
Strong Performances and New Champions Emerge
The event also showcased impressive rides from notable category winners. Nasser Al Abdulla, Mohammed Al Kubaisi, and seasoned rider Allan Ramsing delivered standout performances, further enriching the event’s competitive spirit. In the car section, Mohammed Al Marri and co-driver Szymon Gospodarczk topped the overall classification for the Dukhan round, marking a successful conclusion to their campaign.
This final round not only celebrated individual achievements but also confirmed the new champions across various car categories. The Italian duo of Camelia Liparoti and Erika Mingozzi claimed the Class 1 Cars championship title, capping off a solid season. In Class 2, Nouef Al Sowaidi and Lithuanian co-driver Aisvydas Paliukenas secured the championship, while the Class 3 title was claimed by Saudi drivers Motab Al Shammari and Badr Al Hamdan.
The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, the event’s organizer, successfully rounded off the championship with a well-executed event that celebrated the spirit of off-road racing in Qatar. As the 2025 season concludes, competitors and fans alike look forward to future events that promise to bring more thrilling moments and fierce competition.
