Qatar Off-Road Championship Concludes with Thrilling Title Races

The 2025 Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) concluded in Doha after an exhilarating season filled with intense competition and remarkable performances. Organized by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, the championship showcased the skills of top riders and drivers across various classes.

Championship Highlights and Results

In the motorcycle category, British rider Alex McInnes emerged victorious, claiming the overall Moto title. McInnes finished ahead of competitors Mohammad Al Balooshi from the UAE and Portugal’s Michael Anderson, showcasing consistent speed and skill throughout the season. In the fiercely contested Moto Class 2, UAE’s Abdulaziz Ahli took the championship, with Qatari competitor Nasser Al Abdulla and UAE’s Mansoor Swaidan Al Suwaidi rounding out the top three.

Al Balooshi also excelled in the competitive Moto Survival Trophy, finishing ahead of McInnes and compatriot Abdulla Lanjawi. Meanwhile, McInnes secured the Moto Baja Trophy, surpassing Britain’s Philip Horlemann and Australia’s Thomas Cross.

Four-Wheel Competitions Shine

On the four-wheeled front, Italian driver Camelia Liparoti clinched the Class 1 Cars championship. In Class 2, Nouef Al Sowaidi emerged as the champion, while Saudi Arabia’s Motab Al Shammari captured the title in Class 3. The co-driver titles were awarded to Abdulaziz Al Jabri from Qatar in Class 1, Aisvydas Paliukenas from Lithuania in Class 2, Bader Al Hamdan from Saudi Arabia in Class 3, and Pierre Delorme from France in Class 4.

The competition also included the Auto Baja Trophy, where Qatari racer Ahmed Al Kuwari took the title in Class 1, with Al Sowaidi winning in Class 2. Saudi Arabia’s Omar Abdulleh Allahim triumphed in Class 3. In the Car Rally Trophy, Ibrahim Al Abdulghani, Al Sowaidi, UAE’s Hassan Al Baloushi, and Qatari driver Rashid Juma Al Mohannadi secured victories across the four class categories.

This season’s championship highlighted the talent and determination of participants, solidifying the QORC’s reputation as a premier event in the off-road racing calendar. The excitement and competitive spirit displayed by racers from diverse backgrounds contributed to an unforgettable season.
