Qatari Shooters Secure Eight Medals at Arab Championship in Muscat
Qatari shooters showcased their talent and determination at the Arab Pistol and Rifle Championship in Muscat, Oman, by securing a total of eight medals. This impressive tally includes a mix of gold, silver, and bronze, highlighting the strength of the Qatari team in this prestigious competition.
Individual and Team Successes
Salma Almas achieved a significant victory by winning gold in the women’s 10m air pistol individual event. Her performance reflects both skill and composure, earning her a top spot on the podium. Furthermore, Almas, alongside teammates Duaa Rahmatullah and Aisha Al-Abdullah, secured a silver medal in the women’s team event, demonstrating strong teamwork and coordination.
In addition to the gold and silver medals, Rahmatullah added a bronze to her collection. The mixed doubles team of Al Maha Al Ali and Abdullah Al Sunaidi also contributed to the medal haul by claiming bronze in the 10m air rifle event. This diversity in medal types showcases the depth of talent within the Qatari shooting delegation.
