Capture Your Holiday Magic: Enter Our Photo Competition Now!
The Otago Daily Times invites readers to participate in its exciting “Magic Moments” photo competition, celebrating cherished holiday memories. From December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026, individuals are encouraged to submit their favourite holiday images. The competition aims to showcase the spirit of the season while offering enticing prizes for the best entries.
Entrants are limited to one submission each, ensuring a fair chance for all participants. The winning photographs will be announced on January 12, 2026, in the Otago Daily Times. Contestants can look forward to a range of prizes: the first-place winner will receive a $100 voucher along with an A3 canvas print of their winning photograph. The second-place winner will also be awarded an A3 canvas print, while the third-place prize includes a unique puzzle featuring the iconic Dunedin Railway Station.

In addition to the competition prizes, all participants whose photographs are published will have the opportunity to take their original files to Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse in Dunedin. There, they can receive a free enlargement of their submitted photo, allowing them to further cherish their holiday memories.
