Talal Al Marri Wins Bronze at Asian Youth Bowling Championship

In a notable achievement, Qatar’s Talal Al Marri secured a bronze medal in the individual category at the ongoing 22nd Asian Youth Bowling Championship in Kuala Lumpur on March 15, 2024. This competition has brought together some of the finest young bowlers from across Asia, showcasing their skills and determination.
Al Marri’s accomplishment comes in the wake of fierce competition. The gold medal went to Singapore’s Ayman Rayden Lim Jint, while South Korea’s Bae Soo-hyun took home the silver. Al Marri expressed his satisfaction with the bronze, acknowledging the challenges he faced during the competition.

“The competition was tough, and I was looking forward to winning the top place but some minor issues prevented me from doing so,” Al Marri stated. Despite these challenges, he conveyed a sense of pride in earning the medal. “I’m happy to have won the bronze medal,” he added.
Al Marri also recognized the vital support he receives from the Qatar Bowling Federation and the team’s technical and administrative staff. “It is a great incentive for me to continue striving to achieve more accomplishments in the future,” he noted. Earlier, Al Marri showcased his talent by winning a gold medal in the doubles event at the 24th Asian Junior Bowling Championship held in Qatar in 2025. His consistent performance underscores his potential in the sport, marking him as an athlete to watch in future competitions.
