Archie Madekwe and Robert Aramayo Nominated for 2026 Bafta Rising Star
The nominees for the prestigious EE Bafta Rising Star Award for 2026 have been officially announced. During a press conference held at the Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday, actors Archie Madekwe, Robert Aramayo, Chase Infiniti, Miles Caton, and Posy Sterling were revealed as the five contenders for this highly regarded accolade. In a moment reflecting both excitement and surprise, Posy Sterling, who gained recognition for her role in the acclaimed British drama film Lollipop, shared how she learned about her nomination. Sterling recounted that she was hiking with friends when she received the call from her agent. “My agent called me and she said, ‘Where are you? What are you doing?’ and I said, ‘I’m on top of a mountain, what about you?’”
