Australian Radio Icon John Laws Passes Away at 90
John Laws, the renowned Australian radio personality known for his distinctive voice and engaging style, has passed away at the age of 90. Laws, affectionately referred to as “Golden Tonsils,” died peacefully at his home in Woolloomooloo, a suburb of Sydney, on Saturday.
His death follows a recent European holiday in September 2023, after which he spent two weeks in hospital. Following his hospital stay, he returned home where he received care from family members.
