Capture Holiday Joy: Enter the Magic Moments Photo Contest
The Otago Daily Times invites readers to participate in its Magic Moments photo competition, encouraging individuals to share their favorite holiday images. The contest runs from December 26, 2025, through January 10, 2026, and aims to celebrate the joy and spirit of the festive season.
Participants can submit one entry each, showcasing their most cherished holiday memories. The winning photographs will be featured in the Otago Daily Times, with the winners announced on January 12, 2026.
Prizes include a first-place award of a $100 voucher along with an A3 canvas print of the winning photograph. The second-place winner will receive an A3 canvas print of their photo, while the third prize will be an ODT puzzle featuring the iconic Dunedin Railway Station.
Exclusive Offer for Participants
In an added incentive, every participant whose photograph is published in the competition will have the opportunity to take the original file to Jonathan’s Photo Warehouse in Dunedin for a complimentary enlargement. This initiative not only enhances the visibility of the submitted photographs but also encourages local engagement with the community.
This competition is an excellent opportunity for individuals to capture and share their holiday experiences, while also standing a chance to win attractive prizes. As the festive season approaches, the Magic Moments contest aims to bring families and friends together, celebrating the essence of the holidays through photography.
The Otago Daily Times looks forward to receiving a wealth of entries that reflect the unique holiday spirit of each participant.
