Sophie Turner, known for her role in the popular series Game of Thrones, recently revealed that she has not been on a date for several months. The actress, who previously dated Peregrine Pearson following her separation from Joe Jonas in 2023, is currently prioritizing her work commitments and the well-being of her two daughters, Willa, aged five, and Delphine, aged three.

In an interview with Net-a-Porter‘s digital magazine Porter, Turner expressed her ongoing struggles with “mum guilt.” She explained that while she dedicates her weekdays to work, weekends are reserved for quality time with her children. “I work all week and then, on the weekends, I’ll spend all day with my kids each day,” she stated. This commitment leaves little room for social outings or dating.

Turner elaborated on the emotional toll of balancing her career and motherhood, saying, “If I go out for lunch with a friend, I will run back home because my heart is sinking that I’ve left them.” This profound sense of responsibility has led her to forgo personal relationships for the time being.

“I mean, I haven’t seen my friends or gone on a date in weeks, months,” Turner continued. “I just sack off parts of my life sometimes. I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I’m working on it. I’ll get there.”

Her candid remarks highlight the challenges faced by many working parents, particularly those in the public eye. As she navigates her career and personal life, Turner remains focused on what matters most: her children.

As she continues to balance her professional and personal responsibilities, fans and followers will undoubtedly support her journey. Turner’s dedication to her family reflects a relatable struggle many face, reinforcing her status as not just a talented actress, but also a devoted mother.
