Qatar Stars League Introduces Man of the Match Award for 2025-2026 Season

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has announced the launch of a Man of the Match Award for each game during the upcoming 2025-2026 season. This initiative aims to enhance the technical standards of the league, boost competitive spirit, and motivate players to excel on the field.
According to a statement from the QSL, the award will be determined by a specialized technical committee that evaluates players’ performances after each match. The recognition will honor players who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship and contribute significantly to the game’s dynamics.

Dr. Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, the Executive Director of Competitions and Football Development at QSL, emphasized the importance of this award. He stated, “This award contributes to increasing competition among players and raising the technical level of matches. It also highlights the individual performance of each player who contributes to serving his team. We wish everyone the best of luck at the start of our football season.”

Season Kickoff and Upcoming Matches
The first round of the Qatar Stars League is set to begin today, with two exciting matches scheduled. The opening match will feature Al Rayyan facing off against Al Sailiya, followed by a clash between Al Shamal and Al Ahli.
