HBH Dayclub Expands Services with Saturday Sessions for Seniors

HBH Group, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting older adults in east Auckland, is launching Saturday sessions for its popular Dayclub program. This initiative is set to enhance the lives of seniors who require additional companionship and support during the day. Starting in September 2023, the Saturday Dayclub will offer engaging activities, nutritious meals, and a chance to foster friendships.

Established over 40 years ago, HBH Group focuses on providing a variety of services, including rest home and hospital care, independent living, and community programs. These services are designed to help seniors age well and live fulfilling lives. The Dayclub, located in Howick, has become one of the organization’s most cherished offerings, catering specifically to older individuals who reside at home but seek social interaction and assistance.

The Dayclub aims to create a vibrant environment where seniors can connect with peers, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and participate in stimulating activities. Families often express their gratitude for the peace of mind that comes from knowing their loved ones are in a safe and caring environment.
