Doha, Qatar: Millions showcased an impressive performance, securing victory in the Ras Laffan Cup, a prestigious 1100m Thoroughbred Open race for three-year-olds, held at Al Rayyan Racecourse on December 19, 2023. The seven-year-old chestnut gelding, owned and trained by Abdulaziz Ali Al-Kathiri, was expertly piloted by Szczepan Mazur, who executed a well-timed surge in the final stretch to win by half a length.

The race drew considerable attention, with spectators eager to see how the competitors would perform. Mazur’s strategic patience paid off, allowing him to unleash Millions’ speed at just the right moment. Following the race, Rashid Saed Adiba, Head of the QREC Racing Operations Section, presented the trophies to the winning connections, adding to the celebration of the event.

Earlier, he secured wins aboard Roma in the Local Purebred Arabian Handicap (75–95) and Barkt Al Majd in the Local Thoroughbred Maiden Plate. His achievements not only highlight his skill as a jockey but also set a vibrant tone for the day’s racing events.
