Fan leader Allan Ssemugabi, who works in the automobile industry, described this moment as historic for Ugandan football. “This is a momentous occasion in our football history. Fans are super excited, and many will be travelling to Qatar to support our young players,” he stated. Ssemugabi also highlighted the convenience of Qatar’s compact nature, making it easy for fans to explore various cultural sites.
Indonesia, having hosted the tournament in 2023, will participate again. Vidi Viciyandrie, a fan leader and oil and gas professional, emphasized the passion for football in Indonesia. “Football is the number one sport back home; we are crazy about the game. Our young Garudas have our full support,” he said. Viciyandrie expressed confidence in Qatar’s ability to host another successful football event.
