Al-Ajami and Abdulla Shine in Thrilling Hathab Equestrian Rounds
The ninth round of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour at Al Shaqab delivered exhilarating performances across three competitive categories on March 12, 2024. The event showcased top equestrian talent, with podium finishes highlighting the skill and determination of the riders.
In the Gold Tour (140 cm), Faleh Suwaid Al-Ajami emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional control and partnership with his horse. Following closely, Khalid Al-Hadi secured second place, showcasing a strong performance throughout the competition. In the team standings, Team Wathnan claimed the top spot, while Team Lekhwiya and Team Al Shaqab rounded out the top three positions.
The Open Tour (110 cm) saw a remarkable display from Abdulla bin Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who led both the main and junior categories. He topped the main podium, while Mohammed Al Dal’an and Khalid Al Hadi followed in second and third places, respectively. In the junior round, Ali Omar Al Ansari and Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al Thani secured second and third places, showcasing the bright future of equestrian talent in Qatar.
The Future Riders Tour (70 cm) featured a standout performance by Norah bint Jassim Al Thani, who clinched first place. Nasser bin Hamad Al Thani displayed remarkable versatility by taking both second and third positions in this category, highlighting the competitive spirit and depth of talent among young riders.
The event not only celebrated individual achievements but also reflected the growing popularity of equestrian sports in Qatar. Participants and spectators alike enjoyed a day filled with excitement, skill, and camaraderie, reinforcing the importance of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour in fostering equestrian talent in the region.
As the tour progresses, anticipation builds for future rounds, where riders will have additional opportunities to showcase their skills and vie for top honors in this prestigious series.
