Doha Welcomes Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 with Exciting Event
Doha, Qatar, will host the Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 on March 15, 2025, during a special event at the Fairmont Katara Hall. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner that coincides with the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 final, featuring Paris Saint-Germain and CR Flamengo at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
The awards ceremony, which will start at 20:00 Doha time, will be broadcast live on FIFA.com. This prestigious celebration will recognize the world’s best players and coaches for their outstanding contributions over the past year. Prior to the dinner, FIFA will reveal the recipients of various awards, including the best fans, goalkeepers, and goals, through digital videos shared across their platforms and social media. Additionally, the FIFA Fair Play Award will also be presented.

Approximately 800 guests are expected to attend this significant event, including FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA Council members, legends of the sport, and representatives from member associations worldwide. The presence of local and regional ambassadors will further enhance the significance of the evening.

Over 16 million votes were cast by fans, influencing key categories such as The Best FIFA Women’s Player, The Best FIFA Men’s Player, The Best FIFA Women’s Coach, and The Best FIFA Men’s Coach. The voting system utilized for these awards is equally weighted between fan votes, current captains and coaches of all national teams, as well as media representatives.
In addition to individual awards, fan participation extended to selections for The Best FIFA Women’s 11 and The Best FIFA Men’s 11, showcasing the collective spirit of football enthusiasts worldwide.
