Qatar Challenges Bahrain in Friendly Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Qatar’s national football team is set to face Bahrain in a friendly match on September 6 at Al Thumama Stadium. This encounter serves as a crucial preparation ahead of the fourth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

The upcoming match against Bahrain marks Qatar’s first during the September international break. Following this, the team will play another friendly against Russia on September 7 at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
